Leather Purchasing Guide
Our leather and hides are purchased in
their exact form from the tannery. NSW Leather usually sells such products
by the side, hide, skin or split.
As the size of each side, hide, skin or
split varies, the size of your ordered product will vary. The actual size
of these products is determined by measuring devices at the tannery.
How We Price Leather, Hides and Skins
NSW Leather Prices
leather and other hides and skins using the following methods:
1. By each unit, generally products sold this way have one price
regardless of the size.
2. By the side, hide, skin or split these are generally priced by
the square foot or square meter, and therefore the price varies according
to the size of the product.
For your
convenience, there are NSW Leather warehouses in Sydney and
Melbourne, and also exclusive agents in Western Australia, South
Australia, Tasmania, and Queensland.
To those customers who are
manufacturing overseas, we offer an optional shipping service to countries
such as China, Thailand, Fiji, and New Zealand.
We supply the
manufacturing trade and the public, and there are no large minimum quantities required on stock items.
